The Physicians Group at The Davis Community

The number of physicians available to treat aging adults has not kept pace with the growing population in Southeastern North Carolina. In response, The Davis Community opened a state of the art not-for-profit physicians practice in August 2009 to increase accessibility to quality health care. The Physicians Group at The Davis Community is staffed by University Physicians, a service of the Southeastern Area Health Education Center (SEAHEC), affiliated with UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. The three physicians selected for the practice treat patients from age eighteen to one hundred eighteen and have expertise in geriatrics, internal medicine and family medicine.

Following appointments patients may visit the Champ Davis Pharmacy before returning home. The pharmacy is conveniently located within the same building. Outpatient physical therapy, speech and occupational therapy services are available on-site for patients of the practice and the general public.
