Independent Physician Practice and Pharmacy Located on the Davis Campus

The number of physicians available to treat aging adults has not kept pace with the growing population in Southeastern North Carolina. To help bring physicians closer to the senior population in the Porters Neck area, in 2009 The Davis Community constructed office space to house an independent physician practice and pharmacy.

The Champ Davis Pharmacy serves the residents and guests of The Davis Community as well as the general public. The pharmacy matches pricing offered by major chain pharmacies with the convenience of easy pick up and home delivery to Plantation Village residents..

Suite 100 in the building contains physician office space including nine fully equipped examining rooms. Dr. Marsha Fretwell and Dr. Audrey Surak operate their medical practice in the space. Dr. Fretwell is Co-Medical Director of The Davis Community and specializes in serving aging adults. Dr. Surak serves patients beginning at age 18. Other physicians are expected to share the ample space in the near future.
