Event Calendar

We are committed to keeping our residents active and engaged in therapeutic recreational activities. Our full-time certified Recreation Therapist is assisted by four additional staff. This dedicated team prepares a monthly array of activities for residents to enjoy with special recognition for holidays, special events and birthdays. Whether individually or as a participant in a group activity, residents experience a myriad of scheduled and self-directed opportunities including arts and crafts, therapeutic gardening, musical entertainment, off-campus field trips and much more.

A new endeavor is underway with the scheduling of planned events. Each unit now has its own daily agenda. All residents continue to have a opportunity to participate in a daily large group gathering such as church and coffee hour. Additionally, there are events scheduled and held in the common areas of each wing.. This is an effort to meet the individual needs of our residents within the context of their living area. The Recreation Staff assigned to each unit coordinates the scheduling for each recreational activity and are happy to provide further information to residents and family members.

The Master monthly schedule is posted on The Davis Community website each month using the link below. Volunteer opportunities are highlighted in color to provide our volunteer corps a list of recreational events where additional assistance is needed.
